European American Chamber of Commerce & Industry (EAcham&©|160;for short) is a non-profit and non-governmental organization.&©|160;It is co-founded by those people from industry and commercial sectors, and organizations, who are active in Europe and America business, trade and economic cooperation affairs.&©|160;In 2003, the headquarter was registered in Brussels, Belgium. At present, EAcham has 15 offices worldwide: Belgium, Netherlands, the United States, Germany, France, Italy, Romania, India,&©|160;Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou. EAcham&©|160;currently has more than 150,000 members.
Adhering to the service tenet of ˇ°Connecting Europe, America and China, Serving Home and Abroadˇ±, EAcham aims to build a platform to strengthen connection and communication as well exchange among enterprises and organizations all of the world on economy, culture, technology, education.
Every year, it introduces more than 100 international missions, including international buyer missions, international exhibitor missions, international investment missions, government missions, and parliamentary missions, with a total number of more than 5,000. Meanwhile, it organizes Chinese government delegations and Chinese business delegations to visit abroad, arranging and holding promotion activities, official visits, business visits and matchmaking overseas, etc.&©|160;EAcham has its own self-media information platform, China News, which is a self-media service for foreign investors. It has the support of Chinese government and updates China Business News daily.
